Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Research Staff (m/f/d) to join our team in the field of simulation of optical materials. The successful candidate will be responsible for contributing electronic structure calculations to the interdisciplinary research on nanostructured, optical materials.
Key Responsibilities:
- Embedded into cooperations with experimentalists and theoretical groups
- Contribute electronic structure calculations to research on nanostructured, optical materials
- Employ the groups-owned code Jellyfish for simulation of light-induced electron dynamics
- Present research results and working group at conferences, scientific journals, and GitHub codes
Requirements:
- University science degree in chemistry, physics, or similar
- Very good knowledge of quantum chemistry and/or quantum dynamics
- Experience in usage of quantum chemistry codes
- Programming skills in Python, C++
- Good command of English (written and spoken)
- Independent work planning
