We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Student Worker to join our team at Siemens Energy Global GmbH & Co. KG. As a Student Worker in High Voltage Testing Technology for HVDC/SVC Power Converters, you will play a crucial role in supporting the development and practical construction of testing facilities.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Electrical simulation of test circuits to ensure accurate and reliable results
  • FEM simulation of electric fields in high voltage constructions to optimize testing procedures
  • Support the development and practical construction of testing facilities to meet the needs of our clients
  • Automation in documentation to streamline processes and improve efficiency

Requirements:

  • Currently studying Electrical Engineering with a focus on high voltage technology
  • Experience with MATLAB/Simulink and ideally other simulation environments for FEM simulation
  • Ideally, experience with high voltage testing equipment and measurement technology
  • Independent work, creativity, and ability to systematically analyze and solve technical problems
