Job Description

As a Hardware Engineer in the High-Frequency Design department at ithinx GmbH, you will be responsible for developing innovative wireless connectivity solutions for various industries, including Smart Home, Smart Lighting, and Smart Climate. Your work will contribute directly to our goal of providing our customers with tailored connectivity solutions.

Responsibilities
  • You will design and develop solutions for cutting-edge wireless connectivity
  • You will be responsible for designing embedded high-frequency circuits and antenna structures
  • You will conduct international type approvals (R&TTE, RED, FCC, etc.) and create technical documentation, as well as accompany approvals in external test laboratories
  • You will support the EMV department (e.g., setup of measurement equipment, development-related measurements, corrective actions)
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will be known for your self-motivated yet team-oriented work style and possess fluent language skills in German and English. You will also be open to new technologies and methods and bring a high level of quality awareness. To ensure your success in this position, we are looking for:

  • A completed degree in Electrical Engineering or High-Frequency and Telecommunications Engineering
  • Comprehensive knowledge of HF-compatible PCB design, as well as knowledge of current wireless protocols such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Cellular, and IEEE
  • Proficient use of simulation software such as ADS and EmPro
  • Knowledge of high-frequency measurement technology and initial knowledge in the field of EMV
