Job Description

As a Hardware Engineer in the High Frequency Design department, you will work closely with your team to develop innovative IoT solutions from concept to market launch for various industries (e.g. Smart Home, Smart Lighting, Smart Climate). This will directly contribute to our goal of offering our customers suitable connectivity solutions.

Responsibilities
  • You will develop solutions for innovative wireless connectivity
  • You are responsible for the design of embedded high-frequency circuits and antenna structures
  • You will conduct international type approvals (R&TTE, RED, FCC, etc.), create technical documentation, and accompany approvals in external test laboratories
  • You will support the EMV department (e.g. exhibition construction, development-accompanying measurements, corrective measures)
Requirements

You are known for your self-reliant but also team-oriented way of working and have fluent language skills in German and English. You are also open to new technologies and methods and bring a high quality awareness. To ensure your success in this role, we are also looking for:

  • Completed studies in Electrical Engineering or High Frequency and Telecommunications Engineering
  • Comprehensive knowledge of HF-compatible PCB design, as well as knowledge of current wireless protocols such as WiFi, Bluetooth, Cellular, IEEE
  • Safe handling of simulation software such as ADS and EmPro
  • Knowledge in high-frequency measurement technology and first knowledge in the field of EMV
