SAP Application Technology Expert

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced SAP application technology expert to join our team as a Cloud Software Deployment Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for planning and executing the mass deployment of new software artifacts across our Enterprise Cloud Services (ECS) system landscape.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and execute large-scale software change implementations, including updates, upgrades, and patches.
  • Collaborate with Software Development and Productization teams to validate new packages and identify risks.
  • Work with ECS operations teams to compile waves for execution and review results for any problems requiring follow-up activities.
  • Develop and maintain technical concepts, including decision proposals and technical summaries.
  • Communicate with customers on technical and operations topics.

Requirements:

  • Cloud mindset and previous work experience in a team running SAP technology-based systems on a large scale.
  • Experience in planning and executing large-scale software change implementations.
  • Good understanding of SAP application technology, including system architecture, software updates, and upgrade strategies.
  • Excellent analytical and solution-oriented thinking, as well as strong communication, presentation, and networking skills.
  • Fluency in English and German languages.
