Senior Transport Planning Manager, EU Surface Transportation

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Transport Planning Manager to join our team at Amazon. As a key member of our Surface Transportation team, you will play a critical role in driving the implementation of creative, data-driven change across our organization.
Key Responsibilities- Create innovative solutions using data and research to address wider challenges in our organization.
- Work closely with Tech teams, Applied and research Science teams to support the development of tools and tech solutions required to drive change.
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert, supporting teams and contributing to reliable and trustful partnerships with internal stakeholders.
- Analyse complex data to explain KPIs performance and identify opportunities to achieve higher targets.
As a Senior Transport Planning Manager, you will drive and manage the implementation of creative, data-driven change in Amazon, leading improvement projects and initiatives. You'll use strategic thinking to define and implement an efficient project plan.
Requirements- Bachelor's degree
- Experience in complex problem solving and working in a tight schedule environment
- Experience leading process improvements
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams
- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel at an advanced level, including pivot tables, macros, index/match, vlookup, VBA, data links, etc.
- Knowledge of SQL at an intermediate level, including compile queries, subqueries, aggregation/grouping, data modification, etc.
- MBA in supply chain management, operations, engineering, analytics or related field
- Relevant experience in a supply chain, logistics, e-commerce, or transportation planning role
