About the Job
We are looking for a strategic project manager to join our team in Düsseldorf.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead strategic, regulatory, and digitalization projects independently in close collaboration with departments, IT teams, and IT providers.
- Develop and implement project management procedures and use suitable PM methods and tools for formal planning and control of projects.
- Drive the professional development of project team members from various roles and integrate project tasks and effects into the company's environment.
Requirements
- A successful completed university degree (preferably with a business or IT focus) or comparable practical experience.
- Experience as a proactive impulse giver in strategic and operational project management, including planning and conception, and at least 2 years of experience in responsible leadership positions of projects or comparable positions - preferably in a financial institution or consulting company.
- Comprehensive knowledge of established procedures in project management and/or IT development (preferably with corresponding certifications in PM like PRINCE, IPMA, SCRUM).
- Experience in communication with internal and external stakeholders and possession of analytical, planning, and organizational skills.
- High social and personal competence and ability to motivate and integrate people into the changing project teams.
- Innovative thinking and flexibility.
- Excellent German language skills and good English language skills are expected.
