Job Opportunity: Social Pedagogical Professional
About the Role
- We are seeking a highly skilled Social Pedagogical Professional to join our team in Siegen, Germany.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate support processes to ensure effective participant engagement.
- Support participants in transitioning to further qualification opportunities.
- Establish and maintain reliable relationships with participants.
- Develop and implement life and career perspectives with participants.
- Provide development-oriented counseling in case of issues.
- Conduct behavior trainings to promote participant growth.
- Offer regular consultation hours to address participant concerns.
- Set and monitor goals with participants, documenting progress.
- Gather information on collaboration with third parties, such as addiction and debt counseling services.
- Assist participants in applying for social benefits.
Requirements
- Completed studies in Social Pedagogy/Work or Social Work, Special Education, or a comparable qualification.
- Proficient in MS Office.
- Strong team and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently.
- Knowledge of regional support systems.
- Intercultural competence.
- Enjoyment of working with diverse individuals.
- Membership in a Christian church affiliated with the Working Group of Christian Churches (ACK) Germany is desirable.
