About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Supply Chain Optimization Manager to join our team in Munich, Germany. As a key member of our Amazon Transportation Service (ATS) team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our global supply chain.

Job Description

In this role, you will be responsible for defining and implementing process improvements across our supply chain network. This will involve analyzing data, identifying areas for optimization, and developing strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs.

You will work closely with multiple stakeholders, including Operational teams, Retail teams, and external partners, to ensure seamless communication and collaboration throughout the supply chain.

Some of your key responsibilities will include:

  • Defining supply chain and operating models for various businesses
  • Analyzing and interpreting data to improve efficiency across supply chains and multiple operations
  • Partnering with teams to advise on and manage operational challenges
  • Supporting the planning and organization of complex projects

A Day in the Life

No two days will be the same in this role. You will spend time resolving temporary issues, navigating operational challenges, and driving Amazon towards achieving new objectives.

You will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, from defining supply chain and operating models to assisting with site resource planning during busy periods.

You will also work closely with our Linehaul Service Partners to define linehaul strategies and navigate operational issues to deliver the best service for our customers.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A degree
  • Relevant experience working in supply chain
  • Relevant experience working with external suppliers
  • Relevant experience working with Excel at an intermediate level

Bonus Pay Structure

The salary for this position is estimated to be between €80,000 - €120,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a base salary, there may be opportunities for bonus pay based on individual performance and contributions to the team.
