Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Senior Medical Devices Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for negotiating, preparing, and executing regional and local quality assurance agreements with suppliers.
You will collaborate with procurement and supply chain management teams to select, evaluate, develop, and manage suppliers, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and laws.
Key responsibilities include:
- Negotiating and executing quality assurance agreements
- Collaborating with procurement and supply chain management teams
- Leading supplier improvement projects
- Developing and executing the vision and strategy for supplier quality assurance activities
- Performing regular supplier audits and initiating measures as needed
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A MSc degree or equivalent in Life Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Demonstrated expertise in worldwide regulatory standards and laws applicable to the medical device industry
- High-level quality tools and methodology skills, including 8D, 5-Whys, FMEA, IQ/OQ/PQ
- Adept negotiation and communication skills to foster positive supplier relationships
- Business fluent English and conversational German; additional European language skills highly beneficial
- Certification as Supplier Quality Auditor required
- Strong project management skills with ability to lead cross-functional projects
