Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and driven sales professional to join our international business team as a Business Development Manager. As a key member of our sales organization, you will play a pivotal role in driving growth by introducing our cutting-edge data, services, and technology to prospects and re-engaging lapsed clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and execute a new business strategy and achieve annual sales targets.
  • Identify, create, and convert sales opportunities through cold calls, penetrating prospects or lapsed clients, face-to-face visits with decision makers, and diligent follow-up activity.
  • Develop and expand customer relationships with a focus on untapped potential, closing deals, up- and cross-selling, and managing customer expectations.
  • Proactive and responsive day-to-day communication with clients and prospects.
  • Handle incoming client requests and plan and track sales activities using the Company's CRM tool.
  • Provide annual, quarterly, and monthly forecasts and be present at important events to gain market knowledge and expand your network.

Requirements

  • A highly motivated and driven sales professional with a relentless work ethic and a commitment to going the extra mile.
  • Fluent communication skills in English and German.

  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
  • Deep understanding of strategic and social selling principles.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • 2+ years of proven experience in developing new business, preferably in the market research industry or corporate enterprises.
