Senior IT System Administrator

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior IT System Administrator to join our team at Nikon SLM Solutions AG. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for the administration and development of our Microsoft Intune environment, as well as the monitoring and operation of our VMware ESXi server farm.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administration and development of the Microsoft Intune environment, including software deployment with Chocolatey
- Monitoring and ensuring the operation of the VMware ESXi server farm, including Windows servers, IBM SAN storage, and network infrastructure
- Administration, monitoring, and further development of our extensive M365 landscape
- Collaboration with the IT security team to improve IT security measures and architectures
- Concept, development, and implementation of IT infrastructure projects
- Providing support to end-users to ensure a positive user experience
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or comparable, or an IT apprenticeship combined with relevant professional experience of 5+ years
- Extensive knowledge of Microsoft systems, including Windows clients, servers, Active Directory, Entra ID (Azure Active Directory), and Intune
- Experience with Microsoft cloud collaboration solutions, such as Exchange Online, SharePoint, M365, and Teams
- Proficiency in PowerShell, PRTG, and VMware, as well as in-depth knowledge of network structures and concepts
- Excellent project management and communication skills, with the ability to work in a service-oriented manner
