About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled IT System Administrator to join our team at SLM Solutions. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for the administration and development of our Microsoft Intune environment, including software deployment with Chocolatey.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and develop the Microsoft Intune environment, including software deployment with Chocolatey.
- Monitor and ensure the operation of the VMware ESXi server farm with mainly Windows servers, IBM SAN storage, and our network infrastructure, including network access control.
- Administer, monitor, and further develop the extensive M365 landscape.
- Work closely and proactively with the IT security team to continuously improve IT security measures and architectures.
- Concept, develop, and implement IT infrastructure projects.
- Support end-users as required to provide a positive user experience.
Requirements:
- A Bachelor's degree in computer science or comparable, or an IT apprenticeship combined with relevant professional experience of 5+ years.
- Extensive knowledge of Microsoft systems, including Windows clients, servers, Active Directory, Entra ID (Azure Active Directory), and Intune.
- Very experienced with Microsoft cloud collaboration solutions, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, M365, and Teams.
- You bring experience with PowerShell, PRTG, and VMware, ideally also with Microsoft SQL Server, as well as in-depth knowledge of network structures and concepts.
- Great project management skills, as well as good communication skills in English, set you apart.
- You are a communicative team player, connecting the dots, working in a service-oriented way, and enjoying analyzing complex business matters.
