Job Description

We are seeking a highly qualified Professor in Bioprocess Intensification to join our team at the Technical University of Munich (TUM). The successful candidate will be responsible for research and teaching in the field of bioprocess intensification, with a focus on the development and intensification of processes in which microorganisms or mammalian cell lines produce macromolecules.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct research in bioprocess intensification, including the development and intensification of processes in which microorganisms or mammalian cell lines produce macromolecules.
  • Teach and supervise students in the field of bioprocess engineering and design.
  • Participate in the development of new degree programs and courses in bioprocess engineering and design.
  • Collaborate with other researchers and industry partners to advance the field of bioprocess intensification.
Requirements
  • PhD in bioprocess engineering, biotechnology, or a related field.
  • Postdoctoral research experience in bioprocess intensification.
  • Excellent communication and teaching skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
