About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Freight Broker to join our team at GTG Logistics GmbH, a leading logistics provider in the East-West freight business. As a Freight Broker, you will play a crucial role in managing a diverse range of clients from various industries and regions across Europe and Eurasia.

Key Responsibilities

• Transport Order Management: Organize and handle transport orders in the East-West business, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of goods.
• Client Communication: Communicate with clients and partners in German or English, with additional languages such as Russian, Polish, Ukrainian, Armenian, Kazakh, or Turkish being a plus.
• Freight and Customs Documentation: Prepare freight and customs documents, aligning customer requests with regulations and business interests.
• Transportation Process Monitoring: Monitor transportation processes, ensuring smooth operations and quick-thinking solutions.
• Warehouse Coordination: Coordinate warehouse operations, ensuring efficient storage and retrieval of goods.

Requirements

• Education and Experience: Completed education in a business-related field or logistics, or relevant experience in the East-West transport business.
• Language Skills: Fluent in German and proficient in English or Russian, with additional languages being beneficial.
• Organizational and Communication Skills: Essential skills for this role, including the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Customs Clearance Systems: Familiarity with customs clearance systems like ATLAS, Zabis/Bluejay is a plus.
