About the Role

We are seeking a Senior License Manager to oversee the management of software licenses and assets. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Reviewing and negotiating license agreements and contracts
  • Providing expert advice on license-related matters
  • Optimizing the software asset portfolio through cost-benefit analyses and economic considerations
  • Preparing and leading contract negotiations and manufacturer audits in collaboration with relevant departments
  • Managing license and usage agreements, as well as monitoring license contracts and creating license reports
  • Conceptualizing, building, and developing the software asset/license database
  • Defining and implementing guidelines, processes, and key performance indicators for license management
  • Ensuring compliance with and continuously improving defined license management processes

About You

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • Advanced knowledge of current license models from leading software manufacturers
  • Knowledge of open-source licenses and software and IT architectures
  • Strong business, legal, and cost-conscious thinking and action

  • Strong analytical skills and negotiation skills
