Your Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Accountant to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for executing accounts payable and accounts receivable, including dunning, posting of business transactions, bank and cash transactions, and preparation of payments.
Key Responsibilities
- Execution of accounts payable and accounts receivable, including dunning
- Posting of business transactions, bank and cash transactions, including preparation of payments
- Processing of fixed asset accounting
- Completion of statistical reports such as Intrastat, Bundesbank
- Processing of travel expense reports
- Preparatory work for monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements (in accordance with the German Commercial Code (HGB)
- Important point of contact for internal and external addressees, such as tax consultants and auditors
Requirements
- Successfully completed commercial training and ideally subject-specific additional qualifications (e.g. accountant, tax clerk, tax specialist)
- Relevant professional experience
- Good knowledge of MS Office and experience with Microsoft Dynamics would be an advantage
- Friendly and convincing demeanor, team player
- Fluent in German and good written and spoken English
