IT Infrastructure Coordinator

Job Summary

As an IT Infrastructure Coordinator at KRAEFT GmbH Systemtechnik, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our local IT infrastructure. This includes administration of servers, backup systems, and user support in Bremerhaven and Hamburg in coordination with Central IT. You will also be responsible for selecting, installing, and replacing hardware at our locations, as well as accompanying onboarding and offboarding processes. Additionally, you will serve as a data protection coordinator and support compliance with security guidelines and standards set by the central IT department. You will participate in IT coordinator meetings and serve as a contact person for all IT-related topics for employees at the site.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administration of local IT infrastructure, including servers and backup systems
  • User support and application support in Bremerhaven and Hamburg
  • Selection, installation, and replacement of hardware at our locations
  • Accompanying onboarding and offboarding processes
  • Data protection coordination
  • Supporting compliance with security guidelines and standards
  • Participation in IT coordinator meetings
  • Contact person for all IT-related topics for employees at the site

Requirements
  • Completed training as an IT specialist for system integration or comparable
  • Experience or career starter with a university degree in IT, such as computer science or comparable
  • Knowledge in Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Windows Server, standard office applications, IT network and technology, and PC and server hardware
  • Ability to work in a team, independence, reliability, and communication skills
  • Occasional willingness to travel between locations
  • Willingness for further training
