We are seeking a highly skilled QESH Officer to join our team at GXO Logistics, Inc. in Dormagen. As a QESH Officer, you will play a critical role in developing, securing, and continuously improving QESH management systems and performance within the assigned organization and related stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities- Implement and ensure compliance with quality, environmental, safety, and working conditions policies in accordance with German regulations.
- Maintain and improve the established quality management systems through auditing and spot checks.
- Assist operational personnel with incident investigation, provide advice, support, and guidance on legal frameworks, and ensure that learning points are fed into the QESH directorate for continued improvement.
- Undertake audits of contract depots and staff on site.
- Assist and support with audits by internal and external bodies/parties, such as ISO audits.
- Support local managers in contact with QESH regulators, accompanying them on inspections, audits, and responding to complaints and queries.
- Work within and promote the philosophy of safe team working and development across all company activities to achieve business objectives and continuously improve performance.
- Knowledge of risk management systems, quality assurance, incident investigation methods.
- Auditing experience.
- Knowledge of laws and regulations regarding all QESH-related topics.
- Logistics sector background is a plus.
- Fluent proficiency in both German and English.
- You are careful, decisive, and independent. You like working within a team, and you cope well with stress.
