Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Field Service Engineer to join our team at Voith Hydro GmbH & Co. KG. As a key member of our global team, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful installation of our products and solutions worldwide.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure installation packages meet quality and performance standards.
  • Review and validate calculations and assumptions from bid documents.
  • Collaborate with design teams to adjust FMEA and participate in design reviews.
  • Provide feedback to dispatch teams on any project disruptions.
  • Assist with technical and organizational site issues.
  • Improve equipment designs and mitigate risks during installation and commissioning.
Your Profile
  • Degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or a related field.
  • Several years of experience in assembly, supervision, and commissioning of power plant components, preferably in hydropower.
  • Experience in quality and risk management, as well as dealing with assembly personnel and equipment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Very good English language skills, with additional language proficiency an advantage.
  • Proficiency in MS-Office and willingness to travel worldwide (approx. 20-30%).
