Job DescriptionWe're seeking an experienced Tech Accountant to join our Accounting & Taxes Team in Berlin. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our accounting data, facilitating a seamless integration between our accounting function, product, and technology.
Key Responsibilities- Support GotPhoto's Back Office, manage international payments, ensure payment integration, and maintain Group Accounting knowledge.
- Write SQL queries for reconciliations, handle invoices, resolve issues, and assist with Month and Year End Closings.
- 3-5 years of work experience in accounting, with a solid understanding of German and US accounting principles and practices.
- Proficient in accounting software (Datev, Quickbooks Online) and knowledgeable in taxes (VAT, income, payroll), reconciliations, and tax returns.
- Experience with SQL.
- Strong problem-solving skills with proactive issue resolution and excellent communication with cross-functional teams.
- Fluent in English and in German (B2 level).
