Head of Growth

Growth & Company is a dynamic organization seeking an experienced Head of Growth to drive customer acquisition, activation, engagement, and loyalty strategies for our fast-growing DTC e-commerce brand in Berlin, Germany.

This role requires strategic planning and hands-on execution capabilities, as well as creative and analytical skills. The successful candidate will work cross-functionally with all members of the Marketing team, including Data, Creative, Product, and Communications teams, to drive alignment with the company's vision.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Owning performance marketing from awareness through acquisition, engagement, and ideating and implementing creative growth strategies and optimization best practices.
  • Developing and managing marketing strategies, including content creation, segmentation, and experimentation to drive loyalty, engagement, and customer satisfaction.
  • Overseeing and executing strategies for paid media including, paid search, display, video, and paid social.
  • Driving pipeline for creative across digital channels in collaboration with Creative and Product teams.
  • Leading experimentation program to drive optimization at scale.
  • Collaborating with Data Science team to build and interpret dashboards to support hypothesis and drive optimization roadmaps.
  • Identifying opportunities for optimization across the website and customer journey, collaborating with product and creative teams.
  • Conducting research, analyzing data, market trends, and competitive landscape related to Growth marketing to provide insights and recommendations for strategic decision-making.
  • Ensuring the right tools and systems are in place for scalable growth.

Requirements:

  • Relevant experience in a marketing role in a DTC consumer goods business with affinity for E-commerce and performance marketing in this industry.
  • Deep understanding of attribution and marketing mix modeling with demonstrable insight into the shifts that have occurred within the digital landscape in the past 3-5 years and how they affect consumer-level attribution.
  • Direct experience working in marketing-related acquisition and analytical platforms (Meta Business Manager, Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, Pinterest Ads, Reddit Ads, TikTok Ads etc)
  • Experience leveraging a portfolio of marketing channels and tactics (Organic, email, personalization, paid, influencer, ecommerce etc.) to run effective always on media and cross-channel campaigns.
  • Experience directly managing 7+ figure of yearly ad spend across diverse paid channels.
  • Demonstrable experience in digital acquisition testing at scale within a growth-based framework.
  • Experience with basic Analytic implementations, and event/conversion deployment via tag management software desired.
