Senior Engineer for Water Dispenser/Soda Maker Category

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Engineer to join our team at Midea Europe GmbH. As a Senior Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing drinking-water-related appliances and components, including valves, pumps, and carbonation systems.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop innovative drinking-water-related appliances and components
- Conduct research and collaborate with suppliers to identify new materials, technologies, and manufacturing processes
- Manage innovation and development projects, providing technical advice to stakeholders
- Create and maintain detailed engineering documentation
- Organize and participate in product testing and validation
- Collaborate with Global R&D teams to ensure regulatory certification requirements are met
- 5+ years of experience in product design and development, preferably in the soda maker category
- Proficiency in 3D designing software, such as PRO/E
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Experience with manufacturing processes, including injection molding, stamping, and assembly
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements for consumer products, including safety and environmental standards
