About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Water Appliance Engineer to join our team at Midea Europe GmbH. As a key member of our R&D team, you will be responsible for designing and developing innovative drinking water appliance technologies that meet customer requirements, industry standards, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop drinking water appliance technologies that meet customer requirements, industry standards, and regulatory compliance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that the appliances are designed for manufacturability, serviceability, and reliability.
  • Organise and conduct testing and validation of the machines to ensure that they meet performance and safety standards.
  • Manage and oversee various stages of new product development, assisting the Global R&D teams in product mold development, trial production, certification, and mass production.
  • Develop and maintain product documentation, including engineering drawings, bills of materials, and test plans.
  • Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to ensure that components and materials meet specifications and quality standards.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in product design and development, preferably in the drinking water machine industry.
  • Proven record of independently designing the entire machine and its components.
  • Proficiently apply drawing software such as CREO and CAD.
  • Familiar with product reliability design requirements and production process related processes.
