Overview
We are seeking a dedicated individual for the position of Finance Business Partner Ground Based Systems (f/m/d) within our esteemed 'Ground Based Systems' division. This department plays a pivotal role in managing commercial projects and providing acquisition support for advanced ground-based and vehicle-based sensor network solutions focused on surveillance, reconnaissance, and target acquisition.The responsibilities encompass comprehensive proposal support, including cost estimation leading up to order acquisition, as well as managing the commercial aspects of orders throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the primary contact for project managers regarding all financial and contractual inquiries. Engage in commercial project management, ensuring effective monitoring and reporting of contractual implications (penalties, warranties, liabilities, claims). Prepare detailed offer calculations and the financial components of proposals. Guarantee compliance with accounting standards relevant to the project, including HGB, IAS, IFRS15, along with overseeing pricing and auditing matters. Participate in project oversight and assist in the financial evaluation of managed projects, including cost-to-cost analyses, target versus actual comparisons, and proactive identification of potential issues. Assist in the procurement process for contracts with both internal and external entities and aid in export license processing. Contribute to periodic planning activities, including operational planning, budgeting, and statistical analysis for the business unit.Candidate Profile
Degree in business administration or a related field. Proven experience in finance and commercial roles. Familiarity with project management is advantageous. Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel, and possess a solid understanding of SAP (SD/PS module). Knowledge of public pricing regulations is a plus. Strong analytical skills with a proactive and independent work ethic. Excellent communication abilities, assertiveness, and teamwork skills. Fluent in German and possess strong English language skills.What We Offer
