Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Finance Business Partner for our 'Ground Based Systems' division, located in Oberkochen or Aalen. This role is crucial for overseeing commercial project management and providing acquisition support for advanced ground-based and vehicle-based sensor network solutions focused on surveillance, reconnaissance, and target acquisition.The 'Ground Based Systems' division is integral to the entire project lifecycle, from proposal development and costing through to order acquisition and subsequent commercial order management until project completion.
Your Responsibilities
- Act as the primary contact for project managers regarding all financial and contractual inquiries.
- Engage in commercial project management, including monitoring and reporting on contractual implications (penalties, warranties, liabilities, claims).
- Prepare financial calculations and contribute to the commercial sections of proposals.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards relevant to the project, including HGB, IAS, and IFRS15, along with price verification and audit considerations.
- Participate in project controlling and co-calculation of managed projects, including cost-to-cost analyses, target vs. actual comparisons, and proactive identification of deviations or issues, supporting the development of corrective action proposals.
- Assist in the awarding of contracts to both internal and external entities and support the processing of export licenses.
- Contribute to periodic planning processes, including operational planning, budgeting, and statistical analysis for the business area.
Your Qualifications
- Degree in business administration or a related field.
- Proven experience in finance and commercial roles.
- Familiarity with project management is advantageous.
- Strong proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, and good knowledge of SAP (SD/PS module).
- Understanding of public pricing laws is a plus.
- Analytical mindset with a proactive and independent work approach.
- Excellent communication skills, assertiveness, and teamwork abilities.
- Fluent in German and proficient in English.
