Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Transportation Operations Director to join our team in Frankfurt. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our on-demand public transportation services in the region.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of our transportation services, including managing key performance indicators and ensuring high-quality service delivery.
- Lead a team of local field staff to establish operationally stable and scalable processes, and work with our central operations teams to ensure excellent quality of service.
- Develop and implement opportunities for improvement based on feedback from passengers, drivers, and partners, and play a major role in the expansion of Via's service in the region.
- Collaborate with our local team and partners to centralize and automate processes, and work towards achieving key performance indicators.
- Ensure that revenue and quality targets are achieved, and that the local field team is equipped to handle the growth of our service.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience in a leadership role, with a proven track record of managing teams and driving business growth.
- Strong leadership and team development skills, with the ability to balance the needs of different stakeholders and find the right tone in every situation.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to approach complex issues in a solution-oriented manner.
- Fluent German language skills (C1 level) and excellent English language skills.
- A valid driver's license in Germany, class B.
