Procurement Research Intern

About the Position
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented intern to join our Global Procurement team at Roche. As a Procurement Research Intern, you will support our strategic procurement by conducting market research, establishing new partnerships with non-commercial bio specimen suppliers, and accompanying the entire purchasing process.
Your Responsibilities
- Conduct market research to identify new suppliers and opportunities for cost savings
- Establish and maintain relationships with non-commercial bio specimen suppliers, such as university clinics, hospitals, and laboratories
- Accompany the entire purchasing process, from preparation and follow-up of sourcing to negotiations and ordering of materials
- Participate in internal projects and work closely with the research and development and production departments
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and suggest leaner, faster, or simpler purchasing processes
Your Profile
We are looking for a registered student (m/f/d) of natural sciences, economics, IT, industrial engineering, or comparable courses. Ideally, you have initial practical experience in a pharmaceutical company or within the healthcare industry. You are proficient in English and enjoy talking to international stakeholders in person, via phone or email. You are open to agile working methods and are actively involved in squads.
