Research Scientist in AI Safety and Security

We are seeking a highly skilled researcher to join our team at the Deutsches Zentrum für Luft- und Raumfahrt (DLR) in the field of AI Safety and Security. As a research scientist, you will contribute to the development of safe and secure AI-based solutions for ambitious application classes.
Main Responsibilities- Conduct research and development in the field of AI-related methods, processes, and algorithms
- Ensure safety and security for AI-based solutions in safety-critical applications
- Develop and implement secure data infrastructures and systems
- Collaborate with our team to advance the state-of-the-art in AI safety and security
- Completed scientific university degree in formal sciences (e.g. computer science or mathematics) or other relevant degree programs
- Strong knowledge of information security and expertise in the field of artificial intelligence
- Programming skills in Python and experience in analyzing and implementing software solutions
- Proficiency in written and spoken English and general knowledge of German
