Job Summary

Oracle is seeking highly skilled Data Centre Technicians, Senior Data Centre Technicians/Leads and Data Centre Managers to join our team in Frankfurt, Germany.

About the Role

We are looking for individuals who can troubleshoot and solve infrastructure issues, understand which issues to escalate, and create and maintain documentation on technologies and support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as data centre SME liaison to other technical and non-technical teams.
  • Understand internal customer problems and provide technical solutions in a timely manner.
  • Participate in the installation, monitoring, maintenance, support, and optimization of all production server hardware and software.
  • Provide 2nd level technical support for complex issues.
  • Manage escalated support cases and lead appropriate internal technical resources and/or 3rd party vendors until resolution.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum 2-5 years of experience in IT Infrastructure support and server administration in a mid-sized environment.
  • Strong leadership experience and ability to work independently.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work productively in remote, cross-functional teams or resourcefully and independently as an individual.
