Job Description
We are seeking an experienced IT Support Specialist to join our Level 1 IT team in the Galileo Ground Segment Maintenance Engineering department. As part of this team, you will be responsible for troubleshooting the Galileo IT platform to ensure the reliability and availability of our complex satellite ground control system at hardware and software levels.
The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of various operating systems, such as Linux and Windows Server, and experience in system/network engineering and administration. Proficiency in ITIL processes and project management is also advantageous. Additionally, knowledge of Galileo or other navigation ground segments is desirable.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in technical or scientific engineering fields, such as computer science, telecommunications, or business informatics.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols and database systems.
- Experience with server infrastructure maintenance (hardware, virtualization).
- Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with other team members.
