Data-Driven Business Development Manager

We are looking for a Data-Driven Business Development Manager to actively shape EEM's long-term strategy roadmap and transformation jointly with the EEM Strategy, Transformation & Change leadership team. The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on data-driven strategies to drive business growth and improve operational efficiency of EEM.

Responsibilities

  • Actively shape EEM's long-term strategy roadmap and transformation jointly with the EEM Strategy, Transformation & Change leadership team.
  • Lead strategic initiatives focused on data-driven decision-making, use cases, and new capabilities.
  • Stay up-to-date with trading industry trends and advances in data analytics and develop continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and evaluate new business opportunities based on data analysis and market insights.
  • Present findings and recommendations to the EEM Executive Board and further senior management and stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • University degree in business, economics, data science/IT, or a related field.
  • Several years of experience, ideally in the energy trading or digital technology environment.
  • Ability to identify new digital and data-driven use cases.
  • Proven experience in leading new data-driven business initiatives, strong project management skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, analyze, and interpret complex data sets.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Excellent English language skills, spoken and written; fluency in German or other languages is a plus.
