Senior Regulatory Expert

Symrise is a leading global provider of fragrances, flavors, food, nutrition, and cosmetic ingredients. As a Senior Expert - Global Regulatory Monitoring, you will be part of the Global Substance Registration Team, consisting of 9 multinational colleagues within the Regulatory Affairs, Toxicology & Product Safety Department.
Key Responsibilities:- Monitor new regulatory developments, with a focus on the EU Green Deal/CSS initiative and global regulatory aspects.
- Inform, update, and guide the Regulatory Affairs department, customers, and Business Units on relevant aspects to ensure timely or proactive communication.
- Monitor, evaluate, and anticipate the relevance and impact of new regulations on Symrise business units, besides the Regulatory and Safety groups.
- Act as a dedicated subject matter owner, integrated with up- and downstream stakeholders and adjunct departments, leading project teams on specialized subjects.
- Participate in relevant trade association groups, such as the IFRA CSS Strategy group.
- University degree in Regulatory, Business Administration, or a similar field.
- At least 5 years of experience working within the Scent & Care or Fragrance industry.
- Experienced project manager with very good communication skills.
- Very good command of English, both written and spoken, and ideally a good command in a second major language such as German.
- Outstanding communication skills to liaise effectively with internal stakeholders, consultants, and authorities.
- Exceptional analytical and time management abilities, with the ability to work independently and under time constraints.
- Great team player mentality and motivation to work in international teams.
- Full remote position located within Europe.
