About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Compensation & Benefits Manager to join our team at Ottobock. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring innovative compensation and benefits concepts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive compensation and benefits analyses to assess our competitive positioning and provide recommendations for senior management.
  • Continuation and further development of our function evaluation system to ensure fair and equitable compensation practices.
  • Implementation and management of the annual global salary round and bonus round to ensure alignment with market standards.
  • Participation in and management of projects for the implementation, optimization, and harmonization of remuneration instruments at national and international levels.
  • Designing and implementing rules and processes regarding job evaluations to ensure consistency and fairness.
  • Ensuring target group-oriented employee communication on C&B measures to promote transparency and engagement.
  • Trustful cooperation with co-determination committees, including negotiations, to ensure effective collaboration and stakeholder management.
  • Conducting and participating in works council negotiations on C&B projects to ensure alignment with labor laws and regulations.
  • Building a global C&B community to share best practices and expertise.
  • Coordinating external service providers and contacts within the company on C&B issues to ensure seamless execution.

Requirements

  • You have successfully completed a degree in business administration, economics, or a comparable field and have several years of experience in the HR Compensation & Benefits area.
  • We expect experiences in salary benchmarking, job evaluation/grading, bonus and incentive systems, preferably on an international level.
  • You have a high degree of flexibility to quickly adapt to changing topics, interests, and requirements.
  • You have a high affinity for numbers, a strong analytical mindset, and a structured way of working.
  • You are able to drive projects forward successfully and have good communication skills.
  • Very good German and English skills round off your profile.
