Your Responsibilities
The Senior Scheduler is responsible for creating and maintaining project schedules based on the project's Work Breakdown Structure (WBS). They ensure deadlines are met and update the schedule based on project progress. Key tasks include:
- Scheduling for plant engineering projects
- Creating and tracking schedules, considering all project phases (engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning)
- Reviewing, coordinating, optimizing, monitoring, and benchmarking internal and external schedules, as well as detailed construction schedules
- Progress monitoring, reporting, and identifying schedule risks, as well as previewing project milestones and developing corrective measures
- Supporting the management of external schedulers for the bid team in preparing bid schedules for project management in planning order processing and order management to meet deadlines, progress, and hourly targets
- Interface coordination between external partners and internal specialist departments
Your Profile
We are looking for a candidate with:
- Successfully completed university studies in engineering or industrial engineering
- Extensive professional experience in scheduling and monitoring in plant construction
- Experience in operational project management in plant construction
- Very good knowledge of MS Office applications, including MS Project, Primavera P6, and Primavera Risk Analysis
- Ability to work independently and systematically, with flexibility and mobility
- Very good communication skills and a confident manner with internal and external partners
- Willingness to travel in a national and international project environment
- Obligatory are C1 level German skills and very good written and spoken English skills
