Your Responsibilities
The Senior Scheduler is responsible for creating and maintaining project schedules based on the project's Work Breakdown Structure (WBS). They check that deadlines are met and update the schedule based on project progress.
The tasks of the Senior Scheduler include:
- Scheduling for plant engineering projects
- Creating and tracking schedules, taking into account all project phases (engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning)
- Review, coordination, optimization, monitoring, and benchmarking of internal and external schedules as well as detailed construction schedules
- Progress monitoring, reporting, and identification of schedule risks, as well as preview of project milestones and development of corrective measures
- Support function in the management of external schedulers for the bid team in the preparation of bid schedules for the project management in planning order processing and order management to meet deadlines, progress, and hourly targets
- Interface coordination between external partners and internal specialist departments
Your Profile
We are looking for a candidate with:
- Successfully completed university studies in the field of engineering or industrial engineering
- Extensive professional experience in scheduling and monitoring in plant construction
- Experience in operational project management in plant construction
- Very good knowledge of MS Office applications, MS Project, Primavera P6, and Primavera Risk Analysis
- Ability to work independently and systematically, flexibility, and mobility
- Very good communication skills and a confident manner with internal and external partners
- Willingness to travel in a national and international project environment
- Obligatory are C1 level German skills and very good written and spoken English skills
