About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Product Owner to join our team at Schletter Group, a leading international manufacturer of solar mounting systems. As a Product Owner, you will play a crucial role in the development of software tools that are used by internal and external users for the design and planning of solar parks and solar installations worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the global transition from fossil fuels to renewable energy by developing innovative software solutions.
  • Play a key role in the commercial success of a rapidly growing international manufacturer on the global market for photovoltaic systems.
  • Develop software tools that are used by internal and external users for the design and planning of solar parks and solar installations worldwide.
  • Implement innovative solutions with a focus on sophisticated user interfaces, market-leading functionality, and continuous optimization.
  • In your operational role, you will function as a Product Owner and apply agile software development methodologies.
  • Manage all aspects of the product lifecycle from design and implementation to delivery and ongoing maintenance.
  • Plan and manage corresponding sprints, taking into account efficient time and cost planning. Through interconnected feedback loops, you will maintain an overview of the individual priority stages.
  • Develop and manage system and software tests, product change management, and product documentation processes in accordance with best practices in the software development industry.
  • Be the point of contact for all software and development-related questions from R&D, other technical departments, and sales.
  • Continuously optimize the internal software development process.

About You

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • At least 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Implementation Specialist, Team Leader, or Product Owner or a similar position.
  • At least 2 years of proven experience in leading customer-oriented web products.
  • Good knowledge of web applications and agile methods is a must.
  • Experience in the field of UI/UX and Customer Journey Management is an advantage.
  • You work well in a team and promote agile project methods.
  • You are passionate about your work and proactively promote your product vision with energy and the right mix of structure and creativity.
  • You have a good understanding of the commercial aspects of your work and how it directly affects the economic success of your sales colleagues and their customers.
  • You are an open-minded person with high communication skills. You enjoy presenting complex topics in a concise manner using PowerPoint.
  • Good English skills are a requirement, and German is a plus.
  • You look forward to a flexible work environment in Munich (branch office), at our headquarters in Kirchdorf in Oberbayern, and in your home office.
