Job Title: Sales Account Manager Germany

We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Account Manager to join our German Sales team. The successful candidate will be responsible for executing product line strategies and managing key defend/grow opportunities across German national and international accounts to deliver sustainable growth year on year.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Execute business strategy for selected market segments and targeted accounts.
  • Grow and manage current key direct accounts.
  • Identify core growth accounts and build exceptional customer relationships.
  • Support growth initiatives for the business and introduction of new products.
  • Develop, negotiate, and close sales contracts and agreements.
  • Communicate effectively throughout the organization.
  • Comply timely and accurately with administrative requirements.
  • Provide market information and trends for the company's development.
Requirements:
  • A good understanding of Lubrizol, its products, and service offerings.
  • A University degree, preferably in Chemical or Technical.
  • Several years of direct technical/specialty chemical sales experience.
  • Strong technical understanding of specialty chemicals and polymers, and their applications in lubricants, fuels, and industrial fluids.
  • Excellent communications and presentation skills.
  • Fluency in German and English (spoken and written).
  • Good proficiency in office IT applications.
  • Willingness to travel (up to 40-50% in Germany, The Nordics & The Baltics).
