  • Partner with product teams, learn from them, and understand the challenges they face.
  • Research and engineer approaches to improve developer satisfaction and increase developer velocity.
  • Span the entire process of designing, building, testing, deploying, releasing, and monitoring.
  • Provide and promote TDD, best practices, new tools, trainings as enablement.
  • Lead cross-team and -tribe initiatives.
  • Technical mentor for the team, help improve teams engineering culture.

Who Are We Looking For?

We are looking for someone who likes to solve architectural challenges and deliver customer value in a SaaS product environment. They should be able to collaborate with Product Management & UI/UX teams as part of a customer-focused team. They should be able to turn ambiguity of complex and fuzzy requirements into working software solutions. They should be able to ship code daily or even more often. They should be able to continuously learn, be proactive, and curious. They should be able to work in a fast-paced, agile environment.

  • Software engineering experience in delivering products, understand product teams, help fellow engineers to achieve efficiency.
  • Opinionated on development processes and best practices, optimize and automate them.
  • Leadership and mentoring experience, has been a role model for engineers.
  • Strategic and tactical mindset, break down work in increments.
  • Understand the value of writing technical documentation, guidelines, and standards.

We embrace a hybrid remote work model, which allows us the benefits of in-person collaboration along with the flexibility to work from home as needed. We hire only within commuting distance to our hubs in Bonn, Munich, Ljubljana, Berlin, and Dresden, and we expect our employees to come to the office multiple times per week.
