Procurement Manager Sustainable Assets

Uniper is seeking a highly skilled Procurement Manager to join our team in the Hydrogen, Renewables, and Asset Growth department. As a key member of our Procurement team, you will be responsible for managing procurement strategies, planning, and supplier management to ensure the successful delivery of our business objectives.
Your Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with business unit managers to develop and implement procurement strategies that align with our business goals.
- Manage a portfolio of suppliers to create value for our business, including developing and implementing supplier engagement plans, identifying new suppliers, and negotiating contracts.
- Lead strategic tendering processes, including developing tender strategies, selecting suppliers, and negotiating contracts.
- Act as the primary contact for procurement-related matters in Uniper projects, working closely with other Procurement functions.
- Drive initiatives with business units to develop new solutions and leverage external networks to enhance our procurement capabilities.
- Excellent education in engineering, business administration, economics, or a comparable field.
- Several years of experience in procurement, with a focus on onshore wind and major asset projects.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into procurement and supplier management requirements.
- Excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to work with stakeholders across different cultures and time zones.
- Fluent English required, with knowledge of other languages, particularly German, an advantage.
