About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer to join our Data Science team at Eraneos Germany. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable cloud architectures, developing data pipelines, and ensuring the smooth operation of our data infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement scalable cloud architectures using AWS, GCP, or Azure
  • Develop data pipelines using Python, Java, or Scala, and ensure data quality and integrity
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and develop data-driven solutions
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure our data infrastructure remains cutting-edge
  • Lead and mentor junior team members to ensure knowledge sharing and skill development
Requirements
  • 8+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on data engineering and cloud computing
  • Strong knowledge of Python, Java, or Scala, and experience with data science libraries and frameworks
  • Experience with cloud platforms, including AWS, GCP, or Azure, and containerization using Docker
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Fluency in German and English, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
