About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer to join our Data Products Team at AI Futures. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a crucial role in migrating our data infrastructure to Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and designing, building, and owning core data tables that enable high-impact data-driven decision making.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the process of migrating our data infrastructure to GCP
  • Design, build, and own core data tables that enable high-impact data-driven decision making
  • Implement and optimize scalable data pipelines while meeting the needs of data consumers
  • Automate monitoring of data pipelines and ensure data quality and consistency by implementing data validation checks, data profiling, and data cleansing processes
  • Constantly experiment with new data technologies to challenge the status quo
Requirements
  • ~4+ years' experience in Data Engineering
  • Expert knowledge of Google Cloud Platform, BigQuery, and Airflow
  • Strong experience working with SQL and Python
  • Experience in product-based roles would be highly advantageous
  • Fluency in English
  • You must be in Dusseldorf minimum 2/3 days per week
