Senior Geophysicist for Reservoir Development

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Development Geophysicist to join our team at Karlsruhe, Germany. As a key member of our reservoir development team, you will be responsible for conducting 2D and 3D seismic interpretations of onshore data, validating seismic interpretations using structural geologic validation techniques, and integrating those into regional geodynamic frameworks.
Your Key Responsibilities- Conduct 2D and 3D seismic interpretations of onshore data.
- Validate seismic interpretations using structural geologic validation techniques.
- Integrate seismic interpretations into regional geodynamic frameworks.
- Calibrate seismic data based on checkshot, VSP, and/or acoustic logging data.
- Design and execute seismic attribute studies.
- Build 3D velocity models based on 3D seismic velocities calibrated to well velocity data.
- Plan deviated wells and support related drilling operations.
- Build static 3D structural models based on seismic interpretations and well-data.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Geosciences/Applied Geosciences field.
- 10 years' experience in all aspects of seismic interpretation.
- Minimum 5 years' experience with an operating E&P company as seismic interpreter/structural geologist.
- Strong technical skills and knowledge of geophysical and geologic aspects of seismic interpretation.
- Understanding of seismic processing QC and contractor monitoring.
- Experience in technical coaching of junior staff and leadership experience considered an advantage.
- Flexible working hours and possibility for mobile working.
