Subsystem Project Leader for ETCS

Job DescriptionWe are seeking a Subsystem Project Leader for ETCS to join our team in Braunschweig. As a key member of our project team, you will be responsible for the realization of ETCS projects across all project phases. Your tasks will include:
- Ensuring that project deadlines are met, costs are kept within budget, and quality meets the required standards – you will be responsible for managing external service providers and internal project partners.
- Collaborating with the project leader and other project team members to achieve project goals and objectives.
- Communicating with stakeholders, including DB, municipalities, suppliers, and authorities, to ensure that their needs are met.
- Ensuring that project documentation is comprehensive and up-to-date.
- Ensuring that project goals are aligned with business objectives and customer satisfaction.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A degree in a relevant field (e.g., engineering, economics).
- Knowledge of railway technology, particularly ETCS.
- Project management experience would be an asset.
- Knowledge of signaling technology would be an asset.
- Fluent German and excellent English language skills.
- Willingness to travel within Germany.
