Überblick über die Position:
Wir suchen einen motivierten Werkstudent:in Data Analytics, der sich in die Welt der Musikanalyse einbringen möchte. Als Teil des Marketing Labs bei Universal Music GmbH wirst du eine wichtige Rolle bei der Analyse von Daten spielen, um die Musikfans besser zu verstehen und unsere Künstler:innen optimal zu vermarkten.
Deine Aufgaben:
- Erstellung von ad-hoc Analysen zu aktuellen Fragestellungen rund um das Nutzungs- und Kaufverhalten von Musik
- Überprüfung der Datenqualität und -plausibilität sowie Durchführung von Datenabgleichen
- Konzeption und Umsetzung von strategischen Analyseprojekten
- Übersetzung von Stakeholder-Anfragen in einen schrittweisen Extraktionsplan und Schreiben von effizienten SQL-Codes
- Bereitung der Datengrundlagen und Visualisierung in Tableau oder Looker Studio
- Grundverständnis für ETL-Prozesse und Lernen von Datenpipelines aufzusetzen
- Wartung und Fehlerbehebung bestehender Datenpipelines und Dashboards
- Dokumentation und Pflege von Codes, Ressourcen und Knowhow in Git, Wiki und Jira
Deine Qualifikationen:
- Studium in einem Studiengang mit Wirtschafts-, Statistik-, Informatik-, Mathematik- oder anderem relevanten Schwerpunkt
- Sicherer Umgang mit Datenbankabfragen und fließende SQL-Kenntnisse
- Sehr gute analytische Fähigkeiten und profundes Zahlenverständnis
- Vorteilhaft: Erfahrungen mit Airflow und Python
- MS Office-Kenntnisse, insbesondere Excel und PowerPoint, sowie Spaß an Visualisierungen, vorzugsweise mit Tableau
- Fließende Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse
- Kreativer Kopf und Ideenreichtum
- Selbstständigkeit, Sorgfalt und Detailorientierung
- Offene Kommunikation mit Kolleg:innen
- Musikkenntnisse und Nutzen von digitalen Diensten
