About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Project Application Engineering to join our team at H-TEC Systems GmbH. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading and developing a team of project application engineers, generating solutions for customer project-specific adaptations of our standard PEM electrolyzer products, and creating technical deliverables in conceptual and FEED studies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and develop a team of project application engineers to achieve project goals and objectives.
  • Develop and implement solutions for customer project-specific adaptations of our standard PEM electrolyzer products.
  • Create technical deliverables in conceptual and FEED studies, including project plans, schedules, and resource allocation.
  • Collaborate with sales experts to propose solutions to customer needs and clarify technical questions.
  • Represent the technical proposal to all stakeholders and highlight opportunities and risks.
  • Foster a high-performance culture and a motivating working environment.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in process, electric, or automation engineering or a comparable background.
  • Several years of experience with large industrial process plants in plant design and planning/executing EPC projects.
  • People and project leadership experience.
  • Work experience with PEM-electrolyzers is highly requested. Otherwise, work experience with other industrial electrochemical process plants could be accepted.
  • Self-dependent, systematic, and structured working style, with a high degree of self-reliance and a sense of responsibility.
  • Cross-cultural competence, good communication skills, and a team player.
  • Fluent level of English and German.
