Bar Team Lead

Fotografiska Berlin GmbH is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Bar Team member to join our team at Bar Clara. As a key member of our F&B team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service and creating memorable experiences for our members and guests.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the execution of our innovative world-class beverage program, ensuring seamless service and exceptional quality.
- Manage and oversee daily planning and upkeep of the beverage program, ensuring an integrated, efficient, and profitable operation.
- Develop and maintain a thorough working knowledge of beverage menus, with the ability to articulate to members and guests in an engaged, knowledgeable, and thoughtful manner.
- Provide warm and humble greetings, cocktail building, wine service, and operational discretion while providing a seamless experience for our members and guests.

- Ensure precise execution of the Bar Clara Sequence of Service, in a timely and accurate manner, with the goal of creating memorable guest experiences.
- Follow the standards of service unique to our properties, consistently working to improve the delivery of service, and implementing all systems to ensure smooth delivery.
- Clear communication on orders to ensure the delivery of drinks are in a timely manner, and alerting the Bar Management when running low on any particular item.
- Solution-oriented and taking pride in the details, the Bar Team builds, delivers, and stewards the moments that define the Bar Clara experience for our members and guests.
- 5+ years of experience in lead bartending/serving for high-end, highly visible entertainment entities.
- The capacity to work within an ever-changing environment, assisting to develop operating procedures as the business dictates, and the willingness to support in other areas as required to maintain the integrity of the Bar Clara operations.
- An advocate and ambassador of service excellence who understands the critical role that exceeding and maintaining service expectations plays in the success of building F+B operations.
- Supply expert knowledge of craft and classic cocktails along with old world/new world wines, always ensuring the high quality of beverage items, ingredients, and preparation methods.
- Thorough and detailed execution of the Bar Clara Sequence of Service in a timely and accurate manner; from greeting to order taking, mise en place preparation, assembling, and payment processing.
- Barback duties that aid in maintaining the success of the Bar Team pre, during, and post the hours of service. Ensure Bar Clara is set and ready for service with detailed attention to keeping the bar fully stocked and the ability to anticipate the needs of the Bar Team during bar service.
- Multitask a workflow of warm and humble greetings, cocktail building, wine service, and operational discretion while providing a seamless experience for our members and guests.
- Attention to detail across all aspects of bar maintenance in terms of opening, closing, daily/weekly, and monthly checklist completion, and bar equipment upkeep.
- Precise execution of the Bar Clara Sequence of Service, in a timely and accurate manner, with the goal of creating memorable guest experiences.
- Follow the standards of service unique to our properties, consistently working to improve the delivery of service, and implementing all systems to ensure smooth delivery.

- Attend regular operational meetings and team trainings to ensure ongoing menu knowledge growth and effective coordination and cooperation between departments.

- Have a positive impact, taking responsibility and initiative to resolve issues, always clearly communicating with our members, guests, and F&B leadership.
- Maintain complete knowledge of and compliance with all Health & Safety, company Employment policies/service procedures/standards as these relate to the FOH team.
