Energy and Automation Technician for Building Technology

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Energy and Automation Technician to join our team at SMP. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our building services and energy management systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Integrate building systems into a building management system
- Ensure the technical availability of supply and operating systems
- Coordinate and manage internal and external services in collaboration with technical departments
- Visualize and automate supply process technology, including monitoring and evaluating systems, diagnostics
- Implement process optimization measures for supply systems (energy management)
- Organize and monitor maintenance, repair, and maintenance of all technical supply and operating systems, as well as the grounds and buildings
- Commission and coordinate external services and order spare parts
- Responsible for training mechatronics engineers (m/f/d) and creating working instructions
Requirements:
- Completed training as a mechatronics engineer (m/f/d), electrician (m/f/d), electronics engineer (m/f/d) with further training as an industrial master electrician (m/f/d) or equivalent qualification with many years of professional experience
- Relevant professional experience in an industrial company
- Knowledge of energy management according to ISO 50001
- Practical experience in process optimization and personnel responsibility
- Analytical thinking, passion, creativity, commitment, and flexibility
- Strong motivation and perseverance in complex tasks and challenges
- Willingness to pass on knowledge
- Structured planning and implementation
- Excellent communication skills and well-developed organizational skills
- Independent and team-oriented working style
- Proficient in Siemens, S7, SPS, Eplan, WinCC, MS Office, and SAP
- Basic knowledge of English
- Class B driving license
