Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Supply Chain Manager to join our team at Alpha Engineering KG. As a key member of our aerospace projects, you will work closely with senior leadership, logistics, design & manufacturing engineering, and major suppliers.

Your Profile

To be successful in this role, you will have a degree in engineering or business administration and several years of professional experience in supply chain management, purchasing, or technical project management. You will possess excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to build trust and consensus among team members.

  • You will have knowledge of working with ERP Systems and an entrepreneurial mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Fluency in English is required, with good German skills highly beneficial.
Your Responsibilities

As a Supply Chain Manager, you will be responsible for managing global procurement, from forecasting and planning to purchasing, supplier development, and monitoring. You will work closely with internal cross-functional project teams and reflect buying market opportunities into the design departments.

  • You will source new suppliers and build a fast and agile supplier network by negotiating agreements and implementing frame contracts.
  • You will define and implement pragmatic supply and replenishment strategies with Production Planning & Control and Logistics.
  • You will participate in supplier negotiations, represent supply chain requirements, and ensure a standardized framework.
  • You will plan, drive, and lead various improvement projects, focusing on agility, automation, and digitalization.
