Aircraft Maintenance Specialist

The Aircraft Maintenance Specialist is responsible for ensuring the airworthiness of assigned aircraft and subsystems. This involves servicing, repairing, and overhauling aircraft and subsystems to meet federal aviation regulations and original equipment manufacturers' specifications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain aircraft systems, including engines, fuel systems, and electrical systems.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, filter replacements, and tire rotations.
  • Conduct inspections and troubleshooting to identify and repair malfunctions.
  • Use technical data and manuals to diagnose and repair complex systems.
  • Collaborate with other maintenance personnel to ensure efficient and effective maintenance operations.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Seven or more years' experience as an aircraft mechanic on UC35 and/or C-12 preferred.
  • A&P License is required.
  • Completion of formal maintenance training on assigned aircraft (C-12 King Air) is desired.
  • Qualified by the appropriate USG armed forces aircraft mechanic maintenance course or civilian equivalent training desired.
